چکیده
Introduction. The shear strength of concrete, while not being an independently standardized indicator concrete quality, plays important role in the analysis reinforced structures. concepts related to dependence on compressive and axial tensile are quite ambiguous. Self-compacting (SCC), which has been widely used recently, is somewhat different from ordinary (OC) compacted by vibration terms structure properties, data SCC sparse. Purpose study: We aimed clarify strength, assess comparison with that OC. Methods: compared OC experimentally, applying common methodology use a Mörsch specimen performing modeling MATLAB six theories. Results: No significant differences were found at design age 28 days. In quantity, excess relative less than 12%. best agreement experimental among those analyzed provided Geniev theory. concretes most likely described equation Rsh=k*(R*Rt)^(1/2) k = 0.5–0.6.

Relation between the Workability and Strength of Self-compacting Concrete
This paper presents the results of an experimental research on the workability and compressive strength of self-compacting concrete. The work focused on concrete mixes having water/binder ratios of 0.35 and 0.45, which contained constant total binder contents of 500 kg/m and 400 kg/m, respectively. The concrete mixes contained four different dosages of a superplasticizer based on carboxylic wit...

cement is an essential ingredient in the concrete buildings. for production of cement considerable amount of fossil fuel and electrical energy is consumed. on the other hand for generating one tone of portland cement, nearly one ton of carbon dioxide is released. it shows that 7 percent of the total released carbon dioxide in the world relates to the cement industry. considering ecological issu...
Comparison of the Performance of Self Compacting Concrete
Self-Compacting Concrete Originally developed in Japan, SCC technology was made possible by the much earlier development of Superplasticisers for concrete. To compare the performance of SCC with Fly Ash 20%, Silica Fume 10%, Rice Husk Ash (5%, 10%, and 15%) as a partial replacement of cement, due to the high increase in construction which has brought a heavy demand for ingredients of concrete s...

self-compacting concrete (scc) is a highly fluid yet stable concrete that can flow consistently under its own weight, pass between bars, and fill in formwork without the need of compaction. the application of scc effectively resolves the difficulties of concreting in situations with complicated formwork and congested reinforcements. in this paper, the bond between scc and steel reinforcement wa...
